There has not been a poll done for at least a year or two to see if there has been a rise or fall in the amount of people getting tattoos. However, tattoo shop owner's are reporting that they are seeing an increase in business and that a lot of their business is coming from tattoo virgins. The latest poll that was done showed that a whopping 40% of people from the ages of 18 to 40 have at least a tattoo. That's almost half of the population. With the popularity of tattoos rising there are still quite a few people who fear tattoos and look down upon them. Over the years tattoos have become more and more popular and the tattoo community is trying their best to change the stigma that is put on them.
